Central Presbyterian Church is located on Cedar Street in downtown St. Paul. We are accessible by car and bus, and WE ARE ON THE GREEN LINE! Get off the train at the 10th Street Station and walk south less than one block (we are the second church).
We offer free parking during worship.
Parking On Sundays For Worship:
World Trade Center Ramp, located just across the street from the church. (Make sure to use the “general/public parking lane” rather than the lane for the Children’s Museum.) Take a ticket and then get a chaser ticket from a church usher. [See directions below] To use GPS/mapquest to find this ramp, simply use the address: 477 Cedar St., Saint Paul, MN.
Minnesota Public Radio Lot (behind the church, off 9th and Minnesota): On Sundays, we are allowed to use this lot. Four spaces, nearest the church entrance, will be marked as accessible. The entrance to the church off this parking lot is fully accessible.
Parking During the Weekday:
We have purchased 4 spaces in the Minnesota Public Radio Lot (9th and Minnesota) that are designated for our use all day, every day. They are marked with white signage. If you are coming to church during the week day to meet with pastoral staff, for a meeting, or to volunteer, you are welcome to park in those spaces marked with a Central Church sign. Please check in with the Church Administrator at the front desk.
Parking for church events on weekday evenings [after 5:30 pm] and Saturdays:
You may park in the MPR Lot, located off 9th and Minnesota. The entire lot is for our use, not just the four marked for Central. On weekday evenings, you are also able to use the World Trade Center Ramp — simply ask for a chaser ticket from a staff member or church usher. You may park in the World Trade Center Ramp on Saturdays, but you will need to pay for parking. Also, please note that parking in the KCP Lot (at 9th and Minnesota) is very inexpensive.
There is always one space designated for accessible parking near our entrance off the MPR Parking Lot (accessed at 9th and Minnesota.) Upon entering the building, there is an elevator for your convenience. On Sunday mornings, there are 4 spots designated as accessible. If you have any questions, please call the church office (651-224-4728).
Parking for non-church events (i.e. concerts):
Parking is available at the World Trade Center Ramp (see directions below) or at the KCP Lot at 9th and Minnesota. The KCP lot is quite inexpensive, and is just a short walk across the street to our back entrance. Please note that we are not able to provide free parking for non-church (non-worship) events.
